ZABS workshop in Livingstone
1. Southern obligation permanent secretary Miss Ingutu Suba urged farmers and business community in Livingstone to fully co-operate with Zambia place of Standards if they were to improve quality of their products.
2. Miss Suba make this remark when she addressed farmers and businessmen in Livingstone at the shopworn awareness Business forum meeting held at Livingstone museum manse yesterday afternoon.
3. Miss Suba was speaking in a voice communication read on her behalf by Southern province deputy permanent secretary Mr. Alfred Chingi, said that high quality of products would likewise promote sustainable socio-economic development and service delivery to customers.
4. She told the host which included cross boarder traders that government recognized cloak-and-dagger enterprise as the main force to bring moment full development and reduce poverty levels among the people in the society.
5. Miss Suba said this reflected in his Excellency President Michael Satas speech to parliament recently in which he depict an ambitious programme of action to begin vigorous and harsh fight against poverty in his administration.

Nathan Singambwa said that his organization accorded high priority to proceeds of service delivery to customers.
7. Mr. Singambwa emphasized the government is enforcing 53 standards fleck the rest are voluntary.
8. He encouraged farmers to work fast with the institution so that they improve their businesses.
9. And Manager for inspections at the Zambia Bureau of standards Mr. Fredrick Hamutunda said high quality of products would enable farmers and manufacturers much easier to exporting their items to foreign countries.
10. Mr. Hamutunda said this in a paper he presented at the same meeting on role of Zambia Bureau of standards in Zambian economy.
