You ar able to communicate through computers, and some even have cameras on them so you can see who you are talking to. Thomas Freidman gives ten reasons to how the world flattened. The first event was on 11/9/89 when the Berlin Wall came down, second event was on 8/9/95 when the Netscape went public, the third reason is something he called workflow, the quaternate flattener was pop outsourcing, the fifth was off-shoring, the sixth was open-sourcing, the seventh was insourcing, the eighth was supply-chaining, the ninth was informing, and the tenth flattener is steroids. You would think that the more you can communicate around the world, the relegate it is.

Thomas Freidman thinks it is a bad way as he gives good examples to why it is a bad thing. Thomas Freidman thinks that we look at to work harder because other people will end up taking our jobs. The Indians and Chinese are not racing us to the bottom. They are racing us to the top.
